Knox Box Designs founder Steve Knox was raised in a community of artists who provided inspiration and guidance at every turn. He learned early on that his passion for making and his attention to detail paired well to create unique goods for people to love and cherish for years to come.

Steve employs a variety of techniques both traditional hand working methods and leveraging the latest technology to work in a wide variety of artistic disciplines from silversmithing to woodworking. However his passion revolves around creating leather goods which is an intimate and soothing activity. Contemplating how a design will be used and where it will be worn or used is an important part of the process for his commissioned art.

Steve aims to perfect his craft to the best of his abilities, always learning and trying new techniques, always matching his meticulousness with curiosity. Being very fortunate to have befriended some extremely talented leather crafters around the globe, he has studied various techniques and workshopped designs with his peers that have helped him cultivate his style.
